Loss of habitat is a huge problem for tigers in Sumatra, Indonesia. As palm oil and paper companies continue to expand into their land with their illegal logging), tigers continue to rapidly drop in numbers (as well as orangutans, elephants, and many exotic birds).
In 1920, there were an estimated 100,000 tigers in the wild. Today, there are only approximately 3000.
